Jurassic Kingdom – Birmingham
Jurassic Kingdom continues its UK wide tour to Birmingham Botanical Gardens, opening on the 20th May 2017 and closing on the 4th June 2017. It will be open daily during these dates and makes a fascinating and educational day out for families. Please ensure you arrive within the hourly time slot you have purchased. The event will be open from 10am to 6pm daily with last entry at 5pm. Once inside the event visitors can stay as long as they like.
Please Note: Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Children aged 2 and under enter free and do not need a ticket. Child tickets are for ages 3-16. There are no cloakroom facilities at the venue, so visitors will not be able to store bags or large items. Children’s scooters, skates and bicycles are not permitted on site. Only guide dogs are permitted at the festival. Thank you.
Botanical Gardens Members: Birmingham Botanical Gardens members are entitled to enter Jurassic Kingdom for free and do not need to purchase tickets. Just show your membership card on arrival.
Venue Address: Westbourne Road, Birmingham, B15 3TR
Accessibility: The pathways are a mixture of hard standing, grass and dirt track, and temporary plastic pathway. The event route is mostly accessible to wheelchair users and for pushchairs. Please be aware that some areas do have a few steps and some uneven flooring as we are on a public park site. Our teams onsite are ready to assist any wheelchair users where possible and offer route guidance and advice as we would like all our visitors to enjoy the event and make the most of their visit.
Travel by Car: From the M40 Take M42 West to M5 then leave at junction 3 and take A456 signposted City Centre. Turn right onto B4129 (Norfolk Road) signposted Botanical Gardens.
From the M6 leave at junction 6 and take A38(M) to City Centre. Follow underpasses signposted Birmingham West to A456. At Five Ways island turn left onto B4217 (Calthorpe Road) signposted Botanical Gardens.
For local traffic follow signs for Edgbaston then follow brown tourist signs to Botanical Gardens.
Parking: The Birmingham Botanical Gardens car park is reserved for disabled badge holders and drop off, pick up only. Blue Badge holders do not need to book in advance, just turn up and show your badge. We recommend visitors use public transport. If customers must drive, they must find parking on one of the local side roads close to the venue. Please note, parking is very limited so we strongly advise using public transport to avoid causing major traffic jams.
Travel by Bus: 22, 23, 24 or 29 buses stop directly outside the Gardens on Westbourne Road.
Alternatively buses 9, 120, 126, 127, 129, 140 or X10 stop on the Hagley Road, which is an 8 minute walk along Vicarage Road. Plan your journey using National Express West Midlands buses here (https://journeyplanner.networkwestmidlands.com/?operator=NXB).
